Angelmans Syndrome Fundraiser

Scotty Mace put’s on a fundraiser for the research of the rare disease “Angelmans Syndrome”. Scotty’s ambition is to perform multiple workouts for 24 hours. He has taken on the responsibility of his own health and with his discipline, his hunger for knowledge and his ability to persevere to two-a-day training sessions multiple times a week. “In the lead up to the annual walk for AS, Cameron’s dad, John ‘Scotty’ Mace will be undertaking a 24 hour crossfit challenge (starting May 4th at 6pm) at XS Crossfit, Parker to raise vital funds for AS research. To sponsor Scotty go to his FB fundraising page (it should be open to the public) Angelman syndrome (AS) is a rare euro-genetic disorder that occurs in one in 15,000 births. Characteristics of the disorder include developmental delay, lack of speech, seizures, and walking and balance disorders. Individuals with Angelman syndrome will require life-long care.
